Teaching Assistant Vacancies 

Job Start Date: September 2019

Hours of Work:  08.30am – 3.00 pm  Monday to Friday, Term time only

Salary Details: Grade 4 Point 4-5, at £18,426 – £18,795 pro rata

Both Permanent & 1 Year Fixed Term positions.

We have several vacancies (full time and part time considered, but must be able to cover the start and/or end of the day if working ½ days), for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated and supportive team.  The role will be working in the classroom and also working 1 to 1 with SEND pupils.  The successful candidates will need to have the following skills:

  • The ability and willingness to cover classes
  • Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills
  • The ability to support groups of children under the guidance of the class teacher
  • The ability to work flexibly and effectively on your own and as part of a team
  • A professional approach
  • A positive attitude and a sense of humour

 

You will also be required to supervise lunchtimes and be able to work once a week until 4.15 pm to provide help with our after school clubs. There will also be occasions when you will be required to attend meetings or training after school.
